My Teaching 

Your Yoga. Your Way 

When we practice yoga, we learn to create space for our breath, to listen to our bodies, and to slow our thoughts.


For me, yoga and mindfulness have been an integral part of a decade-long wellbeing journey, towards self-acceptance and body positivity, towards a more fulfilling life that is true to my values and beliefs. 

I know what it is like to struggle with low self-esteem, negative body image, disordered eating, and that feeling that we are not enough.

Yoga has helped me to fully inhabit my body, to connect fully, to befriend my body as an ally, rather than an enemy.

Practice with me (online or in person)

My classes are for you if you are ready to listen to your body, if you are ready to connect body and mind, through breath and movement. 

Practice with me if you are willing to slow things down, if you are willing to befriend your body and to rediscover joy in movement.

 

Perhaps you never tried yoga before, but are willing to give it a go. Or you want yoga to complement your other physical exercise. Perhaps you want to ease yourself back into exercising gently, at your own pace. 

What to expect

In my classes, you are invited to inhabit your body as it is and to feel empowered to make choices that serve you in that moment.

 

I rarely play music to allow you to connect to your breathing as we move.
 

Whenever possible I will practice with you; and I do not use hands-on adjustments. 

I offer a trauma-informed yoga classes and my general classes also incorporate some trauma-informed principles.

Practice with me

Yoga on the Beach

HATHA YOGA FLOW

Mondays, 6:00pm

 

A gentle hatha flow class, where we flow between postures and focus on mindful breath. Includes pranayama (breathing) and mindfulness practice at the end of class. I aim to be inclusive and make classes more accessible. You are invited to practice at your own rhythm and to respect your own body. 
Come away with tools to improve your mental and physical health and general well-being.

FRIDAY CHILL

Fridays, 5:00pm

A yin-inspired yoga practice that is designed to relax you. Floor based poses held for longer to meet the stillness and sensations in our body. We embrace restorative elements by using the support of props. We use mindfulness techniques to anchor our mind and nidra or body scans for our final relaxation. A calming class designed to enhance your wellbeing, an ideal practice for the end of a busy week. 

In person. Studio Bamboo, Vila Real de Santo António.

PRIVATE YOGA CLASS

Classes in English or Portuguese. Online or in the East Algarve.

Investment:
Price per lesson (60min) - 40 EUR
Price for 4x lessons (60min each) - 150 EUR
